May/June Books of the Month:

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan

Mary longs to escape the confines of her village, one that for as long she remembers has been fenced in, cut off from the rest of the world...if there still is one. On the other side lies the Forest of Hands and Teeth and Unconsecrated. Despite Mary's obligations to her family, her people, and her own survival, she longs for something bigger. She knows she must marry to keep the bloodlines going but she dreams of escaping to the beach, a faraway entity she has only heard of in her mother's stories.

Poison Study by Maria Snyder

Yelena has been convicted of murdering a general's son and for that she has been sentenced to die by hanging. Hours away from execution she is given a choice; she can become the food taster for the Commander of Ixia or hang. Although Yelena is free from the threat of hanging she remains bound by Valek -- the Commander's head of security. Did she make the right choice?
